I find myself cocking the hammer on my double actions a lot if I practice a lot.

Something related to a base requirement to carry my ballester with a loaded chamber and the hammer down .... and unholstering from a flap holster, cock hammer, and go.

Wonder why we did not carry a single action revolver and be done with it
