I know I'll probably get people saying the idea is dumb or to just leave it be, but here is the theory...
First off, why... Number one reason.... single action is my choice... that's all there is to it.... Dad is getting a Glock for his room, but the single action will be staying with me for a back up
I am just wondering if it is possible to take the front sight down (I am talking non adjustable here) and put an XS big dot type sight on there... maybe widening the rear notch to complete the new sight picture.... obviously all work to be done by pro gunsmiths etc.
I saw an article once on a Robar custom single action that had a shortened barrel and rib on the top of the barrel for something like this, but is it possible with a standard barrel and notch sight?
