single six holster options

Bump... I'm interested too in people's experiences. Want something "Cowboy" yet secure enough to use. I suppose to get the full cowboy effect it should be a gunbelt with the loops, not that you could use the loops for anything with rimfires.

Do the .32 Single Sixes use the same holsters as the .22s?

It is possible to find western-style gunbelts with loops for .22LR, just that .45 and .38/.357 are more common and prevalent. But I have seen for myself gunbelts with rimfire loops.

Hammer thongs are pretty effective at securing a revolver in any western holster, make sure the model you get has one. I've seen. 22 cal shell loops on a western holster, they look very strange as they have to be spaced farther apart so you can manipulate the shells. Triple K and Hunter make 22 cal models of their Western holsters too.

I like to make my hammer thongs with a cut loop above a knot. It gives me something to pull the thong off with, but won't catch the hammer during the draw.
