Single Six questions?

Hey guys. I decided that I wanted to get a couple new .22's, and so I wanted to get a Stainless Single Six with a 5.5" barrel and fixed sights for my Christmas present.

However, the Ruger site doesn't even list any stainless SS's with fixed sights.

Did they not make this version?

I searched some internet auction-sites and found some 6.75" barrel Stainless ones that have fixed sights, but none with 5.5" barrels.

Am I just not looking hard enough, or should I just settle for a regular blued, fixed sight 5.5" one?

You're looking for a 5.5 inch Single Six Vaquero. Sweet. Did Ruger ever make one?

Can't speak on the fixed sight version, but I have the Single-Six in 5.5-inch barrel adjustable sight and feel they're a necessity if you ever plan on shooting light, zippy .22LRs or heavier magnum rounds.
