SKS misfire help!

Took my Norinco Para SKS to the range, fired Wolf HP ammo thru it (all rounds from same lot).

1. With the Murray firing pin, every shot was a misfire. Nice dent in primer but no ignition.
2. With the original firing pin back in, 10% misfire rate. Nice dent in primer but no ignition.

Misfired rounds did fire on second try.

Could be bad ammo; could be weak hammer spring. Hammer spring looks nice and shiny and new; I'm wondering if it is an aftermarket reduced-power spring.

Any recommendations on the best place to get a new hammer spring?

interesting. sounds like the ammo is okay if it fired on the second try?

i would send the trigger group to Kivarri. If that doesn't work, perhaps it is a headspace issue. Also, clean up the chamber...Maybe there is some residue build up.
