Slide fire a .22lr ar type rifle

I have seen some you tube posts where this is done. Have any high roaders out there had success with slide firing an ar type .22lr rifle? If so, what kind of rifle was it, which ammo did you use, did it take some messing around to get it right? Just curious.

No success with mine, I believe the ones on youTube are done with the S&W M&P AR22, the plastic makes it light enough to work.

With the current .22lr ammo situation I see no point in bothering with trying to make it work.

IIRC, the .22LR Slidefire stocks also require (or at least recommend) a new trigger system also.

I don't have any intentions of purchasing a Slidefire for any of my .22's but I do have one each for my AR and AK.....sure it may be a waste of ammo but they sure are fun. And, don't believe a word about not being able to control it.....shoulder-fired practice allows a target connect every time.
