Hey all,
I shot traditional double actions and 1911s for years using a high thumbs grip. Now I'm trying to get used to one of them thar new fandangoed pistols with the slide release foolishly place under the right thumb. How can I keep my thumb from making the slide drop after the last round?
I sold my XD9 to get around this problem, but my new Ruger SP9 is almost as bad. I'm considering a Sig P239, but again, same problem. Maybe I should just buy a Beretta 92FS and be done with it.
Locking my thumb DOWN feels uncomfortable. What do YOU do with your right hand thumb? (And let's keep that question firearms related--please!)
