Yesterday,I bought a Rossi lever action rifle in .357 magnum with 20in. barrel. It is a Winchester 1892 clone I beleive. I was wondering if any of these sling attachments will fit on it. Thanks, and Merry Christmas!
Another option might be a sling that has a buttcuff on one end, and a loop that goes over the barrel on the other. It gives rifles a great look. Levergun Leatherworks has some good stuff. There is one towards the bottom of the page.
Oh my! I forgot to put the link to the slings I was talking about. I was thinking since it was a Winchester clone, that the sling designed for the Winchester should work.
I like the Uncle Mike's magazine tube band, installed on the tube right up against the front of the handguard, and just drill the buttstock for the rear stud. Replace the 1" swivels with 1 1/4", and put on a nice leather 1907 sling. That's what I have on my Winchester 1894. It works great as both a shooting sling and for carry, and the old-fashioned leather look really fits the rifle.
