I just recently bought a Remington 870P Max. I'll be picking it up in a few days, and I can't wait! However, I do want to be able to attach a 3-point tactical sling to it. Does anyone know if the Max comes with sling attachment points or do I need to buy my own and install them? Any help is much appreciated!

Oh yeah, almost forgot! For a side-saddle shell carrier, do I need to get an armorer to drill into the reciever?

The Side saddles I'm familiar with use the holes for the TG pins to hold things on. Nut and bolt connector, no mods to the weapon. It's easy to return to stock condition also.

The 870PMax comes with two sling swivels: one on the stock; one on the magazine extension clamp. However, the 3-point slings I have consist of a sling-side-mount-plate, which is screwed underneath the magazine extension; and a rear-web-harness, which attaches with Velcro around the rear of the butt-stock. See: www.spectergear.com

The attached image shows a straight stock. The sling will work on either a straight stock or the Speedfeed IV-S, which is what comes on the 870PMax.
