Can anyone point me in the right direction for finding sling swivels for a Remington 522 Viper .22 rifle? It has a plastic, hollow stock and I couldn't find anything from the usual sources.
Thanks!

I've used studs similar to this on plastic stocks in the past. Not on this specific rifle, but on the forend of a Ruger 10-22. Just drill a hole and put the nut on the back. I used locktite so the nut will not come loose.

On all of the plastic stocks I've worked with the plastic on the buttstock was thick enough to use this type. Just drill undersize and screw in just like with wood.

I just used the Midway site for photos. You could order from them, but I'd check locally first. The local Walmart carries basically the same thing

Depending on the thickness of the stock, you may want to add a piece of metal, perhaps a washer, so the nut can't possibly pull through.

Ordinary masonry anchors with wood screw type swivels have worked well in the past. They expand inside the hole and won't come out.
