Slings for Tactical Shotguns

out of curiosity, why did you choose the HST sling over the wilderness?

Both companies make pretty nice products. The CQB sling is available from G&RTactical, which is were I order all my tactical goodies from.

I use a Daniel Defense plate on my AR15s.
The reason is that the GG&G plate comes straight out 90 degrees to the gun. When you run the bolt on the AR15 it has a tendency to catch your fingernail which of course hurts like heck.
On the shotgun, this isn't an issue, so I left the GG&G plate on the 870s.

i did the same thing. i also like the fact the dd plate is rounded and doesn't cause the sling to wear as much
