Chieu Hoi! This is not a signal to start the Best Oil/Grease/Lube war over, just a request for experience with the stuff. I've read the descriptions on the website and all the testimonials, but I am still wondering how it's worked for THR members. I have used Tetra for over 10 years with superb results, but you never know - something might eclipse it. My main use is M1 garand & carbine/M14/auto pistols, and maybe the ARs (LSA is still my mainstay there). The EWL/Slip is expensive and I wonder if it's worth it... :scrutiny:

It's good stuff, although for your purposes you might want to stick with a grease of some type.

we have never used it but ive been hearing positive reviews.

our rifles all get mobil 1 synthetic motor oil.

my personal garand gets tetra grease, as do my 1911's.

edit: i have not had great results with breakfree on ar15 types, but mobil 1 has been impressive

i switched from LSA to machinegunner's lube on some ARs and slip ewl on other ARs a couple years ago. I'm getting low on both and just ordered a big squirt bottle of slip2k on black friday.

both are awesome lubricants. demonstrably better than LSA or tetra. MG lube's downsides are that it sucks for rust-prevention and it's expensive, so i'm pretty much just using slip2k in the future.

Check out their de-greaser Slip 725 great stuff, so is the carbon cutter. Oh yeah, I use Slip, and CorrosionX products
