Sorry if I missed it in the search function, but I am interested in slower powders for my .264. I have used US 869 with some 140 MKs using some data from the Speer book which is the only 869 data I can find. I only had standard primers so I got a few hang-fires but the loads were still accurate.
I read about reloader 33 and while it seems interesting, I cant find any data.

Is anyone using US 869 or Reloaded 33 for their .264 Win Mag?

I did pick up some 7828 sc today to try, along with some 4831 sc. H1000 looks promising, I just cant find any. I don't know what's wrong with me, but for some reason I like my cases to be full. I have not done enough testing with 869, but so far it seems promising.

Don't know what the availability of them is out where your at but you might also look at RL-22 and 25 as well as possibly Ramshot Big Game or Magnum.

I find that Magnum turns in some pretty good velocities and groups from both my 7 RM and my STW along with my 25-0 6AI. It burns clean and meters great for throwing charges.

What with the shortage of components I would use whatever reasonable powder I could find. The 264 is just another cartridge that favors slower burning powder.

I made a load up for mine with 140 MK's over Retumbo, the only slow burner I could get at the time.
