Small inexpensive 380's, which Inexpensive model

I shot my TCP this morning. I usually shoot it once a month and I have to say for it's size it really is a nice shooting pistol.

I had an LCP, and found that in order to get the gun to fire, I had to curl my index finger, and press with the fingertip all the way to the rear, and then it would fire. An awful trigger in just about every respect.

That was my experience with my mom's first generation LCP. Absolutely horrible trigger.

Now if I was in the market for a real pocket .380 and just had to have the cheapest one that worked... I guess the Ruger LCP would be it.

That and lots of practice.

If you're already an experienced and skilled DA/DAO J-frame shooter, the LCP seemingly becomes pretty "familiar" within the first magazine load, or so it seemed to me when I was shooting my first one, during the first range session.

Surprising inherent and practical accuracy for such a little pistol in the hand.

I have owned/carried the P3AT, LCP, BG, Bersa, Walther, with the Taurus TCP being my current .380. I picked it up new for $184 (1-mag). It's my favorite. nice trigger, fits my hand ok (w/mag ext), recoil is firm, but managed, better then expected accuracy, for a bargain price. All are fine firearms.
