I ordered a Lee Auto-Prime from Midway, and it came with two trays, one for small primers and one for large primers. The small primer tray was mounted on the Auto-prime, and has a primer pin in it. The large primer tray was loose in the box, and had no other parts (no primer pin) with it. Do you use the same primer pin for both large and small primers, or should there be two pins? The primer pin I have fits both trays, but is not snug coming through the hole in the top of the large primer tray. Thanks for any help.

You should have received two trays complete with two pins and two springs (for small and large size primers). Give the good folks at MidwayUSA a call and tell them you are missing the large pin and spring. They'll make it right.

I was just using mine. Be sure to put grease on all contact points. Takes no effort to prime when peroperly lubed. What a beautiful $ 12.00 reloading tool. Worth every penny.

Question BluBob...Are we talking about the Lee Auto Prime II ?? A press mounted die with spring loaded mandrels?
Midway is unbelievable! I called and talked to customer service, walked them through the details. He said they don't carry the part, so they will have to ship me a whole new Auto-Prime. I asked if I should ship this one back, and he said no, it costs them more to return it to Lee than the piece is worth, so I get to keep it. That is great, because now I can set one up for small and the other for large primers. Then, he tells me if I order anything else through him, they will toss it in and pay for shipping. What a deal! So I ordered the Lee Factory crimp dies I needed, the new Speer #14, and a caliper. When this order comes in I will finally be set up to get reloading again after a 10 year break. I really like Midway.
