iam getting ready to buy one of these units just wondering if any of you fellas have this Scale & how it works for ya

I have not heard anything good about anything Smartreloader sells.

I would be very cautious about buying one.
In reloading equipment, as in most other things, ya petty much get what ya pay for.

By all accounts, the RCBS Chargmaster is the best one on the market for speed & accuracy.

Excercise caution when spending money on anything made by Smartreloader, it ain't smart! The one product I bought from Natchez was a press on sale for $16.00 + shipping. For that money I can't lose, right? I would have been better off stuffing that money in a 45-70 case and shooting it at the moon. If it were manufacturered by mentally retarded monkeys, it would prolly been better! I'm gonna wait a few years before I even think about Smartreloader products again. Meebe they'll improve with time?

I have that scale/dispenser. So far I like mine. I have only loaded around 800 with it so far. As cons if you want it to drop super fast charges then you have to adjust it every time you turn it off & back on but for some reason it will keep the slightly slower settings, (I don't know if this should be a con but)from the box it takes forever to drop a charge & needs the settings adjusted, I didn't get instructions, & the sticker that cover the keys is coming lose at the bottom. Pros are even without instructions it is easy to operate, you only have to push about 3 buttons to adjust how fast it drops the powder, & I could afford it.

To adjust there is 3 speeds that you adjust when in the cycle it switches to that speed. Say you want to drop 53.7gr fast you program it to drop to the second speed when it is 1.5gr from finished then again slower 0.3gr from finished. It will run full speed until 52.2gr then slow down again at 53.4gr. Most of the time it stops right on the mark but sometimes 0.1 over & rarely 0.2gr over but I I never had it go more then that.

I have never read the warranty but I here it really isn't worth much.

I suggest that any opinion that you get from someone that you see if they have ever tried it then you know how much credit to give it. I'm not saying you will have as good of luck with it as me or that I will even get my money worth out of mine but as the saying goes you get what you pay for I say make sure you get what you pay for not just pay more for the same thing.

I haven't ever contacted the person I bought mine from to see if it should have instructions or to say anything about the sticker(for what it's worth). For $180 TYD I took the chance & seems I won. I did check some reviews first & it sounded worth the chance.
