S&W produced the Model 27 with an 8 & 3/8 inch barrel, this was discontinued in 1992.
They also produced a small run of the Model 686 with the 8 & 3/8 inch barrel in 1989 with a total of 1100 manufactured. Product code was 104251.

You could call S&W and see if they have a spare 8 & 3/8 inch barrel for either model. If so you can purchase a gun and have their gunsmithing service swap out the barrel.

Otherwise you will need to haunt the online gun auctions until one comes up for sale.

They are all over the used market, and generally cheaper than the shorter barreled guns.
do a search on GunBroker and you will see plenty of them.
