I have a S&W Model 325PD (2.5").
I bought it used (excellent-like new) and it's the best $408 (total price out the door) I ever spent for a revolver.
I carry it in a Galco High-Ride OWB holster. Mostly open carry when I go hiking and occasionally concealed with a cover shirt.
It's light weight (scadium frame, steel barrel, titanium cylinder) makes it easy to carry.
However, due to it's short barrel and light wieght, felt recoil is stout. Harsh enough to get your attention and after 2-3 loads of +P ammo, I put it away and shoot something with a softer felt recoil like a compact Glock in .45.
I've shot .45AutoRim, .45GAP and .45ACP through it.
I've noticed that due to the shorter OAL of the .45GAP, reload time is faster when using .45GAP then with .45ACP.
The S&W Model 325PD has been discontinued and was replaced by the S&W Model 325NG Night Guard.
