Smith and Wesson Custom shop packages?

Has anyone tried any of the Smith and Wesson custom shop packages such as the outdoors package, combat revolver package or the master revolver action job? If I were planning on building up a woods gun. Is one package better than another? Let me know what you guys think.

Rather than just browse through 'packages', just ask S&W do build what you want. Thats what I did when I sent in my old Model 65. It went up there as a beat up police revolver, it came back a three inch heavy barreled, DAO, bobbed hammer, tuned and refinished custom carry piece. Cost was reasonable, turn around was good.
If you want to hunt with it, they can / will do that work too.

I had a 586 that the custom shop had tuned. It is the best pistol I have ever shot.

The S&W Performance Center has tuned a model 629 and a 696 for me and they are absolutly great. Getting ready to send them a 686 plus mountain gun and 586 and my wifes 342. All for action jobs. They cant be beat in my opinion.
