I had several .41 Magnums at the range this morning.
They were mostly there to get their pictures taken, but I decided to shoot one in the montly THR match. My hand hovered around the gun cases and finally descended on the Smith M57. It's the first .41 I bought and I haven't shot it for a few weeks. It's blued, with a six-inch barrel and black Pachmayr "Gripper" grips.
The match was shot on tiger targets from 10 yards. I had trouble seeing the impacts with the .22s I shot earlier, but the .41 left big holes in the target. I was able to correct my aim and do the best with the .41.
The M57 is a nice shooting, accurate gun. I need to shoot it more often.
