I got to the range tonight and was able to shoot. (I've been there twice without being able to shoot in the last 10 days. Grr!)

I took my M657 with an eight and three eighths inch barrel, a nickeled M57 four-inch, a M19 two and a half inch, and a snub, an M38.
I used the two .41 Magnums to shoot the March THR E-mail match with my reloadsm and shot some groups with Remington 210 grain softpoints. The softpoints were loud and had quite a muzzle flash. I've never shot them inside before. The shot well though. The M657 is one sweet gun, and the M57 is right behind it. The M657 is probably going to be my deer pistol this fall.

Fired some Cor-Bon 110 grain DPX (Barnes copper bullet) from the M38. It was loud and had more torque in the light alloy M38 than in my M649.

Several cylinders of my .38 Special reloads went through the M19. It shoot fairly well with them. A bit low and left, but I've found that common with this gun.

Meanwhile, my son was shooting a Smith M41 target .22 auto that belongs to the club. He did better tonight than last time. I borrowed the 41 to shot the scoped pistol stage of the THR match too.

It was a Smith fest, and my son and I had a good time.
It might be enough shooting to get me through until the outdoor ranges come out from under the snow.
