Smith Model 439 safety and lanyard loop

Just got "new" one - made in 1987.

My old one had single safety - new has ambi. Wondering if I can convert back to single and where I might get parts. if it is possible to convert back.

Also, old had lanyard loop - new does not, but I think they came with one. Bottom of frame / backstrap has single hole and I can see the pin thru frame / backstrap. I thought maybe if I could get lanyard loop it would be simple install, but my gunsmith thinks all lanyard loops have 2 mounting holes (like the Colt 1911s). Is that correct, or did 439 lanyard loops go into single hole ? If so, any ideas where I might find one ?

I've checked Numrich and Brownells - so far no success.

I would think...just a guess...that the parts from the one-sided safety mounted on the 3913/3914 would fit.

I had an old M39-2 and the lanyard loop was a single hole mount
