My beloved Smith & Wesson 625-8. If I tighten up the ejector rod enough so it will not come loose the cylinder resists spinning and the rod doesn't work freely.

What should I do?

Thanks

Sounds like a bent rod or housing to me.

I guess I'd take it apart and roll them on a flat surface to check for any wobble.

I called S&W and they are sending me a return sticky.

It also spits projectile fragments back at my left ear.

Another complaint is the chambers resist loaded lead projectile cartridges that fit in my Dillon case gauge, these also drop cleanly into my Colt and a Kimber.

This will be the 2nd return for spitting at my ear.

Thanks

My 625-6 was a spitter too.

I recut the forcing cone and cured it.

The factory forcing cone looked like they cut it with a dull drill bit running backwards.
