I've done a bit of searching and have yet to see what I'm looking for. At this point I don't really know if what I want exists. Time to ask the experts. I've got a newer Smith & Wesson round butt K/L frame 686. It came with the typical finger groove rubber grips. I would like to put set of wooden large target "conversion" grips on it. I'm trying to duplicate the square frame look of years gone by with a round butt revolver. I've seen a number of manufacturers that offer finger grooved wooden conversion grips but I would like to have the large checkered "Coke Bottle" Smith grips. I haven't went so far as to call S&W just yet but thought I would ask here before I did. I didn't find the answer here and I've done the E-Bay and Google searches. I got a Hogue catalog and called them, they acted like they could make what I'm asking for but I wasn't convinced that the service rep really knew what I talking about. I wasn't comfortable with what he is saying. Does this animal exist? Any help is appreciated. Thanks
