Does disabling the ILS in a new Smith-Wesson revolver disqualify a revolver for IPSC or IDPA competition? The way I read the rule book, all safeties inherent to the gun must be in working order.
I have the feeling that this is primarily intended for 1911 grip safeties, striker safeties, manual safeties on an automatic etc. Does this apply to a revolver with the ILS? Would this be considered a lock instead of a safety?
