Smith & Wesson Model 620 - Interchangeable grips?

Hey all -
I just got a S&W Model 620, and it has the black rubber grips. I'm curious, is that grip interchangeable? I'd love to have a wooden grip on that...but dunno if its possible.

Yes, easily - any wooden grips made for S&W's of the same frame size (it's an L-frame) will work. I've always wanted one of those, too bad I've quit buying guns.
 
^^^ And IIRC, the 620s have a round butt frame. I'm almost certain on that, but not 100%. Therefore, if it is a round butt frame, round butt or round-to-square conversion grips for a K or L Frame will work.

Here are pics of my 686 round butt with a set of Ahrends smooth round-to-square conversion stocks. The wood is Goncalo Alves which I finished myself using a Golden Pecan oil based stain.
