Nice!

I've been a bit curious about Kaido's .36 cal bullets. I know they are good in the .44 cal flavor but wondered what they were like in their little brother.

One question I have had, and I'm hoping to see, is how much capacity they take up weighing 140 grns, and then the penetration capabilities they'd have.

Fingers, it is the 8" model. I have no idea why Pietta did that. It just means it won't fit into my other '51 Navy holsters with toe plugs. I doubt that and velocity difference would show up on the chrony vs 7.5" barrels. Most velocity is generated in the first four inches of barrel with B-P pistol loads. Theoretically velocity increases with length out to around 12 feet of barrel, but I've experimented by shooting the same load in barrels that ranged from 3 inches to 36 inches, and the velocity gain per inch drops off quickly after four inches.

Interesting to know. I've finally bought a chrony so I can run comparisons; but have yet to take it out. I've had the same problem with toe plugs & 1860 Armies. One reason why I prefer the Navies. How did the Pietta print on paper? My Uberti & 2nd Gen 1861s are pretty much POA. They'll cut cards.

Mike,

Great sadness.....since the vid host change over for whatever reason I get no sound.

I must be missing some upgrade or another or perhaps my stone knives and bear skins of a desk top is just a bit dated with reference to its sound card.....if such a thing even exist anymore.

Nice looking vids though. Nice new private range.

kBob, look at the sound adjust icon on the lower bar. I notice I often have to unmute and slide it to Max on most youtube videos now. Don't know why they default to mute.
