i had more of a "range truck" than a range "bag" and just kept it all in my vehicle so any time i got some free time, i'd hit the range, which turned out to be 4-5x per week

could then transport it to my car without generating "man with a gun" calls.

Those calls are never fun. I had it happen once...bought a couple shotguns in a neighborhood yard sale. Was parked a couple blocks away, so I thought it more sensible to carry the kid and stuff the shotguns in his stroller. At least the responding officer had a sense of humor.

I'm self employed so i go whenever i feel like it.

Wish I'd have done so today. My boss offered to stay until close and let me leave early. Tomorrow's Trap, so I'll be doing so anyway, but I only work until 2 on Thursdays because of it.
