A buddy of mine uses one and I was really surprised at how big it turns out to be...he says he get's a lot of "what the heck is in there??"
But he likes it.....

People that do not carry guns NEVER carry anything like that on a belt. There is nothing 'Sneaky' about that product.

Why not just carry a Wilderness Tactical "SafePacker"? Their small one about same size as the Sneaky Pete. BTW: I tried them twice, they are not small. Sent them back both times. Not for me.

anyone have any experience with the sneaky pete flap holster good or bad?
Thinking of one for my Kel tek p32. Looks better than the fanny bag I use now. What say you, is it worth the money?

Seems to take the CC out of CCW. Would much rather use a pocket holster or IWB, or good OWB, with my j frames, and 380 Bodyguard. A big case on your belt isn't going to fool anyone. The post saying that using it for carry when on duty and not wearing a jacket or having shirt tucked in made the most sense to me. Will not be purchasing one of these.

SP is sort of the I want to carry OWB but really would like to carry IWB. Almost the best of both worlds. IMHO, it is too awkward looking.

There is one consideration that has not been mentioned. Suppose you really don't care if folks know what it is. You meet the definition of concealed and have good access. I have become accustomed to open carry and this is close for jurisdictions that don't allow OC.

I had a senior moment and was thinking of the NOS Sneaky Pete concealed nitrous oxide system.
Oops.

I use the Kel-Tec pocket clip with my P3AT. I like it a lot.

You could always tell people that you carry your insulin pump in that Sneaky Pete.
Most people seem to be too oblivious to know better.

Or, you could tell them that you heart problems and have a defibrillator wired to you and carry it in the SP.

Just got my SP yesterday, haven't worn it out of the house yet. Got it for my LC9. Fits good. Yes it does look bigger than it appeared in the demo for the LCP, but I'm still gonna try to make it my carry holster. My reason is I am so darn fat and when I have the 9er in my front jeans pocket and sitting in the truck, there ain't no way I could reach it quickly. I figured having it on my belt would allow easy access walking or sitting. Yep, I'm old enough I could hang an oxygen tube around my neck for the disguises mentioned. I'll know more about how I feel about it in a couple of weeks. BTW my wife (10 yrs younger) inspected it and said "I want one for my S&W Airweight.!" So last night I ordered her one. Of course she can pass it off as a "ladies purse on a belt."

And promptly gave it away.

It was sized for a Bersa Thunder 380.

The dang thing was just too big to comfortably wear.

But, the lady I gave it to has the perfect use for it,,,
She uses it to conceal her Bersa while she is driving her car.

It fits perfectly in a space by her center console,,,
She works in education and can easily drop the gun in there,,,
When parking on university property where she can't keep it in her purse.

When the "holster" is by the console,,,
It blends perfectly with the car,,,
You don't notice it's there.

As far as the size and appearance taking the CC out of CCW, I honestly don't care if someone knows I'm packing. However, I do have a logo that came with the wife's I Pad, I plan to stick it to the flap. If nothing else, it will make my little "man purse" look cute.

In states where concealed is a requirement, why would anyone care if someone else can 'guess' what you're carrying? You could make a pouch that's the shape of the gun within and still be legal. There's a difference between concealed and undetectable; the law requires concealed.

I wouldn't buy one because it looks ridiculous, and concealed here is merely an option- not a requirement.

Re: My post #33 and #35. I have had a chance to use my Sneaky Pete to carry my LC9 for a couple weeks now. It is well made, looks nice, but just too cumbersome to wear conveniently. I went back to my DeSantis in my front jeans pocket. As for being able to access it while driving the truck, I just take it out of my jeans pocket and wedge it in the seat next to me so it is easy to get to. For me, simple is better. I was so sure the SP would be the holster for me. Just had to tell you guys I was wrong.
