And here's what I've bought since then. :D

Sorry about the crappy image, I'm tired and did a bad lighting/photoshopping job.

I picked up the Charles Daly for a song on my birthday. It's been a couple years since I've had a 1911 to play with, so I had to buy it. It's a fairly new CD, not one of the early models that were known to have soft slides. It already has all of the features that I wanted, and it's great to have a 1911 again. Now I just have to wait another day and I can go pick up my set of Hakan grips that are waiting for me at the post office. More (and better quality) pics will, of course, follow.

I thought I'd be set on .45s for a while, but then Ohio had to go and finally pass a CCW law, so I had to hit last weekend's gunshow and pick up the Sig P245. Man, this thing is a beauty. I had a P232 a long time ago, but I don't remember it as being such a sweet gun as this little guy. The guy who sold it to me gave it to me cheap since he said it was too small for his hands. I have pretty good sized hands, but I don't have any problems holding 'er.

Now it's time for the accessories and a couple cases of ammo. Doesn't it ever end?!?

So how'd I do? I couldn't be happier thus far with my first two official handgun purchases.

Very nice, I have a Sig P239 and love it. I also had a CD but traded it to pay for my truck insurance:(

Both are awesome guns, nice buys:)

You did good if they run the ammo you like. Be sure to keep us posted on how things progress. I gotta say that you have a damn fine collection for JUST turning 21!

That 1911 is pretty. I kinda like the grips. They give it a more tactical appearance. Nice toys.
