Well since I have the full rights of an adult now, I felt the need to show off my new pistol. I knew I was going to buy a gun when I turned 21 but I really didn't know what I wanted to do. Since the Democrats won the senate and house, I thought I should get another evil rifle instead. I thought about the 556 *edit* but I also had my eye on a saiga-12 conversion. After much deliberation I decided on buying the pistol instead.

Without further adieu:

Oh....and I have a liking for German cars too.:D

You did good, Grasshopper! :D

Congratulations! And a very nice firearm you have there. I don't think you could have done much better than a 239 SAS for a first pistol.

Feels good, don't it? :p

Very nice choice Daemon. Congrats on meeting the govt's adult number and exercising your priveledge...err...constitutional right ;)

Definitely top of the line. Good choice. I don't have a SAS yet, mainly b/c they don't make them in 9mm (aside from the new 239 SAS 9mm, that is). Everybody should celebrate their 21st with a gun (I did).

looks good

not to jack the thread, but a quick and sort of related question: I can legally purchase a pistol at the age of 18 in NH provided it is from a private seller and not an FFL correct?

Don't be me started on this one!:cuss: :cuss: :cuss: Make sure it's an assault rifle to piss them off good!!!:D :D

"...full rights of an adult..." And responsibilities. Like jury duty, voting, etc.
"...correct?..." Nope. Unless I'm confused again, U.S. Federal laws says 21 for a handgun.

Does this mean you are going to own lots of SIG pistols !!!!!!! and German cars

Another one of those confusing gun laws. It's 21 to purchase handguns from licensed dealers but you can buy handguns at 18 if it's from one individual owner to another. However, straw man purchases are illegal. I wanted an unmolested gun anyways :p

Next on the list is definately the saiga 12 conversion though.

And the whole voting, jury duty, etc. Those were already duties I held when I turned 18. Being able to purchase handguns was the icing on the cake.

^that's what I thought. There's a gunshoe coming up in January, and ever since shooting pistols a few weeks ago I've been obsessing over them. Never been to a gunshow before though.

Not quite getting what you're trying to say. He has no added responsibilities since he had those since the age of 18. He just has full rights now, as he said. He can now purchase pistols from an FFL.

I like those grips.

How many Guns Should a Person Own?

The question may be hard for some but the answer is easy...one
more than you can shoot

I love things made in Germany cars, tractors, chainsaws, guns,
women, it's all good. But I also like things made right here in
the good old U.S.A. Although we may need a change of leadership
it's still the best country on the planet!!!

Happy B'day Daemon and many more...............

Happy Birthday! Welcome to the wonderful year of 21, I'm just finishing my tour of duty of this age and it's been a trip, and it's been a fun one. And on what you should get next, go for the big black scary assult rifle, oh and make sure it has a bayonet lug for all those drive by bayonettings that everyone is scared of :neener:

Wow that is some first gun!:) i agree you did well indeed. I hop they shoot as good as they look but i am sure they do! congrats on the gun and being of age to drink now!:) enjoy drinking and shooting but not at the same time!:)
