I guessed the Savage, but should have known better. I recently bought the Model 41 from the performance center and had to send it back to them.. This is a performence center model, where QC should be the best. They are really putting out low quality work, it is a shame that it is hit or miss since they are such an iconic company.

My rimfire revolver experence had been mainly High Standard and Ruger.
No disappointments with either.
Latched onto a Taurus 941 that Im happy with.
Production has ramped up to cover panic feeding frenzy that Joe triggered.
Quantity up, Quality down?
Problems ususally arise buying arms that are mfg during a panic.
