Does anyone know: Is taking the following action LEGAL, ILLEGAL, or UNSURE/UNKNOWN/GRAY AREA, under federal law?
Taking a AR15 *HANDGUN* which of course has the protruding buffer tube; Holding handgun with two hands, one on the P-grip, and one on the front grip; Pulling the handgun toward you until the buffer tube is placed on and comes to rest on your inner shoulder area; Using this placement and friction to help steady the handgun; Placing your cheek on the buffer tube; And then firing, just as you would a regular rifle or SBR.
???
I suspect that it's either perfectly legal or a gray area (no specific test case law on it yet), but thought someone might know for sure which of the three.
