SoCal 3-Gun?

Hey everyone. New to this site...hope this is a good place to post this question.

Long time shooting enthusiast, yet new to the 3-gun "game" concept. I believe I have the basic gear to get up and running: Glock 21, Mini-14, M1A Socom 16 and Remington 1100 Comp Master....so, next thing is where the heck are there local matches held in Southern California (I live in South Orange County)????? Any help would be appreciated.

Also, does anyone have any suggestions on where one can practice for this type of event. Everywhere I know is very limiting...i.e. slow fire and or limited distances (save Angeles Ranges which go up to 700 yards).

Doesn't West End Gun Club have a monthly 3 gun match?

Someone from the range use to post info on Cal Guns but I haven't seen it there in awhile.

Thanks for the info...I had heard about the Norco range, but when I contacted them they stated rifles were only allowed during club events so this doesn't help me with the practice issue. Suppose I'll go to the event and see what the typical setup is then try to emulate it elsewhere....maybe the desert ?

Is it that most people "practice" while participating in the event or ? Meaning, rapid fire, holstered handguns, magazine replacement while on the move, etc...
