I had a C&R license a few years back. Just applied for one agian. I was wandering if anyone has ordered from Southern Ohio Gun lately and what was the quality of their firearms? As soon as I get my C&R I want to order a SKS.
Same for me.Checking my ATF bound book I've purchased 10 rifles and handguns from SOG since 2006 with nary a problem.Also milsurp ammo.

I have heard that, but have no real details on it.Why anyone even considers buying a "regular" (read:not some rare model that only hard-core collectors would be willing to pay for) Garand from anyone other than the CMP, especially considering the price differences, is beyond me.Even with the rare ones, CMP gets them, and auctions them, so still is little reason to consider anyone else, at least for 99.999% of us.
PS-this sent a bash on Soybomb, especially since he doesn't say he bought one from them,sounds like he's just relaying good info.His comment just made me think of the above.just a general "get your Garands from CMP and you'll be happy" statement
