+1. Have a Trident Tanto here that I stripped two screws on, so I shot 'em an email. Told them that I did it by doing things not covered under warranty (taking knife apart), and asking how much it would be to buy a couple screws. I got an email a few hours later asking for an address and the exact screws. Everything came three days after that, no questions asked. They even sent me a new belt clip (though I know they do that for free, it was still nice considering I didn't ask for it).

Whenever one of my SOG knives is getting a bit dull, I just stop on by their office (I live in the Lynnwood, WA area) and they sharpen, lube, adjust and tighten everything for me for free. Even had them replace a blade on my Flash II that got knicked - didn't even ask about it, they just noticed the nick and swapped it out for me for free.

I have one of their multi tools and it needs some work, but I wasn't able to get any help from them. This was several years ago when I was in the army and I really needed it too. I was even at Ft. Lewis.

I'll try again. I still have it and I'd like to get it back in shape, the thing was very expensive when it came out, first one with the geared pliers or whatever. The blade needs the tip worked and the pliers are loose and have some electrical damage. Nothing I don't think the factory could work out though...

I've always wondered about SOG products. It's good to know that they will provide good service, even beyond their stated coverage.

Some complain about SOG's customer service. I personally have no complaints but have only ever contacted them after a purchase once. I have quite a few of their blades.

It could very well depend on who you get. But my experience was positive, and I hope everyone else has a good one. I'd hate to see SOG start going down. I really like some of their knives.
