Have any of you ever used this knife?

I did a search here on THR, but couldn't really find any recent threads on this knife. So I was wondering what you thought of this knife. I would use it for EDC, and maybe hunting. I have a large variety of knives at the moment, but most of them are low quality cheapo knives that won't hold an edge. So I'm looking for a knife that locks up solid, is sharp and will hold an edge, and around $50 or so. I'm also open to other suggestions.

Also, SOG says this knife has been Cryogenic Heat Treated. Does this really work to improve the blade's sharpness and hold it's edge longer? Or is it just marketing hype? Thanks in advance.

I have owned a SOG Flash II (regular blade) for about 2 years now and it's been awesome. I have a buddy who's owned the tanto version for almost as long and he loves his too. The assisted opening is convenient and still works as strong as the day I bought it. Got mine from LA Police gear for a pretty good price.

I have a Vulcan Tanto, and I like it alot. The only complaint is the flemsy feel of the clip; My Cold Steel Lawman has a much more robust clip mount that I prefer. The SOG clip has worked a little loose with use. Other than that small quibble, I really like the knife.

I have a Flash II semi-serrated. It's great - incredibly tough, light, extremely fast to open. It and my SOG Twitch XL are used for daily carry, based upon what I'm planning to do/wear. I do like the serrations - makes opening boxes a bit easier (banding cuts like a dream).

Thanks for the replys. Looks like a good knife. But I just don't know if I can justify spending money on another knife at the moment.:(
