Solo 1000 Load for 40 S&W?

I've been using Solo 1000 for 45ACP, and would like to find a load for my 40 S&W with 165gr Precision Delta FMJ bullets. Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know what to tell you.

It is an even faster powder then AA #2, and not well suited to the high-pressure .40 S&W.

Accurate doesn't even list any loads with it in .40 S&W.

There is probably a good reason for that!

It is very, very, similar in burn rate to 700X. I played with 700X and 155 Gr plated bullets in .40 looking for a light load. It was not very consistent at all. I did finally find a decent combination, but vary it at all and accuracy went away.

Solo 1000 is very fast for .40. Universal clays is much better suited to 165 Gr bullets in .40, even for light loads.
