I know I'm not the only CZ fan out there, and my latest Photography assignment required me to shoot "Something that matters to you" so...

Bladetech holster, took forever to get here but its great. Very modular for cant and had adjustable tension. The Tec-lock thing is cool too.

I only use factory mags, thems is CZ mags that've just seem a fair bit've abuse.

Ok... what the heck is the NSN number deal? When I worked at the shop, we logged in NSN for old guns with "No Serial Number."

Hi Steel,

That is the N.A.T.O seriel number. The first ones didn't have it, and the new ones don't. Looks like they are kind of rare.

Especially like the last pic - dark, gloomy and shadow cast. Kinda' like that Newsweek cover photo of OJ a few years back ;)

Nice job!

Hey Kevin, have you taken her to the range yet? I already miss it. I've decided that I shurely want a CZ in my collection so I ordered a CZ85B, which is ambidextrous. Being a lefty, I think the 85B will suit me much better, it's not for carry though. I just couldn't get use to the location of the mag release on the P-01 (being a lefty).

hatterasurf, a good place for info on CZs is CZforum.com . The P01 that I had functioned flawlessly. I have not heard of any FTF problems. The only problem I've heard about is the trigger spring breaking with people who dry fire a LOT. The trigger spring of the P01 that I had was fine. I did replace the hammer spring to lighten the pull a bit and that worked great. I also used Brownell's Action Lube Plus for the hammer/sear and that is fantistic stuff! I ordered some extra power recoil springs from Wolff in anticipation of getting a stainless guide rod, but the factory recoil spring is fine unless your going to be shooting lots of +P ammo. The only spring that I would say might be worth changing is the extractor spring with a Wolff extra power extractor spring. I didn't change that spring before I sold it because I wasn't using it for a carry weapon. If I was carrying the P01 I would probably change out that spring. If you do this, you need to make sure that you set the extractor pin when your finished. CZ sets them in the factory and it's a pain to punch out from what I've heard.

Kevin, I hope you love your P01!
