Some interesting and rare firearms in upcoming auction.

I got to hold a Whitney Wolverine about a year ago. I promptly gave it back when they were asking $1500. Local pawn shop on Dyer Street, right next to the Whataburger.

Honestly I wish guns looked a little more retro like back then, I'd buy a modern gun that looks like that.

I bought a Whitney polymer copy way back when. It never worked properly even after sending it back. I traded it off at a gun show who didn't care if it worked. He just wanted it.

I don't know about Russians and how they do things but when I was in an SP howitzer unit I was the driver and I had a job on the gun once I was done driving.

Even for a hip shoot. You stop, you do a minimal emplacement, you fire your rounds. Then you March Order and you go

Ya, Olympic Arms tried to do a polymer-framed copy- it didn't end well.

Only played with a real one once. It was neato. I shoulda ponied up the $900 they were asking....oh, well.

I also had the polymer Olympic Arms copy. It wasn't all that bad, I just had to keep it lubed and cleaned often. It was incredibly light, even loaded it felt like a toy. It weighed barely over a pound and it was just an action and barrel inside a full polymer shell.
I kind of wish I hadn't gotten rid of it but someone wanted it more than I did.
