Some new pics

Outstanding pictures! But now you've gone and given me some bad(and time consuming) ideas.

A few years ago I and two friends wandered into an antique show because we had nothing in particular to do. Someone had recovered a few old wooden boxes with the original factory printing on them. They were cases of blasting caps, and you could still read the printing on them clearly. They had made some table legs and attached them to make end tables. They were really pretty neat and I nearly bought them. I kind of wish I had for purposes like this thread demonstrates.

They wanted like $60 a piece though, and at the time I valued $60 more than the table. Kind of wish I'd gotten them though.

That sounds cool! I've been haunting antique malls for years looking for that kind of stuff. I almost bought an antique leather hat box the same day but couldn't figure out how to use it.

The last pair of saddlebags I got were over $200.

Beautiful photo of the two single actions in Post #32. Could you tell us a little bit about these two well-worn looking revolvers?

Couple of Uberti .45's with their "Old West" finish. Factory aged. I initially wanted a pair of 7½'s but got a good deal on the used 5½". Might be working on a rig for them now. ;)

Well I'm sure the rig will be amazing. I know you do good work. The holster you made for my original Vaquero is my favorite holster. (Threepersons design)

Interesting finish, like the just came out of an Old West museum after spending a lifetime out on the range! Looking forward to seeing what kind of rig you come up with for them. Thanks for sharing!
