When I put an ammo sleeve on my SKS, I found that it helped to keep it in place by simply finding out where the swivel went, cutting a slit for it, and then reattaching the sling. Now it stays right in place and is perfect for the task!

That's it???? Come on, spend that money like there's no tomorrow! You have an economy to save!!

Seriously though: nice collection, gotta love me some guns (stares at my own collection, "i love you guys") Today I bought some food for them: 5500 22 LR :) best 170 investment i've made in a while.

Ha, it's actually a mosin M44

Oh, I know, but it's got a similar way of attaching the sling, and that's what caught my attention. You may not want to cut up your ammo holder, though.

Nice collection! All you need now is something for concealed carry!

It's an older picture. There's a few things I've sold, and quite a few I've bought. I need to take a new picture!

WHOA! PTK, is that a Mosin Nagant cut down to be a pistol in the lower left? I know there's a name for such a creature but it escapes me at the moment.

What the heck kind of loads do you run through that thing?

Yes, it's an obreyz, a sawed off MN 91/30. The thing above the PS90 (short barreled, by the way!) is a converted 37mm launcher - it's now a rifled 40mm.

All NFA items shown are legally registered. I'll take a better picture of just the NFA items... hang on.

Ok, here we go. This is minus a few items, notably my 40mm and pending items (another 40mm, three silencers, and a SBR)

Shown are (from top, R) a 10/22 short barrel, 5.5" barrel, and a 12" 304 stainless custom silencer, an MN pistol, my Stoeger 12ga "lupara", my H&R topper 12ga, my PS90 SBR, my silenced Buckmark with a 2.5" barrel, and my Remington 870 "Witness Protection" model with a 12" barrel.

Surprisingly the kick isn't too bad. The fireball and concussion, on the other hand....

Is that a factory Ruger stock to the Mini-14?

Guitargod1985

Why, thank you. :D

Hi everyone,

I'm 19, just got into shooting last year.

I've received a good welcome in the shooting community with the exception of a few *******s who won't deal with me because I'm a "penniless kid".

Oh well, my money works just fine elsewhere!

(not pictured* MAADI ARM, Mosquito, & AP-74)

Just need two more and I'll be done.. :D

Marrty, you and I are in the same boat, my friend. Many times, dealers blew me off since I'm "just a kid". My total spent on firearms in the past 12 months is well over $35k.

PTK and Marty, are you serious? You guys are new to shooting?

I am also new to shooting. I got into it in 2006, but I have less than a dozen guns. :( I wish I had the kind of money you guys make. LOL

I know what you're talking about, though. Some of the guys at the gun shops can be pretty condescending at times.

Guitargod1985

Yes, I only started really getting into shooting recently. Mostly before the last year or two, it was just .22lr single-shot rifles and break open single shot 12ga shotguns.

Yea, I just got into it. I'm not wealthy either by any means, I just sold off a bunch of stuff I didn't use anymore to fund everything I've got now.

You'd be surprised how much stuff you can find laying around that you can stand to get rid of.

Plus, you can save a lot every week if you cut out the fast food, and buy a car with good gas mileage.

Anyway, it's really disappointing to be blown off by the people who are supposed to be on the same side as you are.

But I've found a few good guys to deal with, and what they can't get/don't have I can always get via the classifieds & gun shows.

Well I am pretty jealous, I need more hardware. Actually oddly enough I am buying a Mosin M44 tomorrow morning so that should be at least one more at a good price.

By the way PTK, you must be at the top of "the list" at the ATF. Did you actually pay buy a 200 dollar tax on a $75 Mosin? That should be a great case example for they why the NFA tax stamp idea is dumb. In any case nice collection.

Among the folks I hang out with, I have a very small NFA collection. And yes, of course I registered the MN on a Form 1 and paid $200. It's a lot cheaper than 10 years in jail and a $250,000 fine!

Man I wish I knew some of those people. Of course it would be difficult for this poor boy to fund two minutes' worth of FA shooting on his budget. :-( I can't wait till I'm done with school. I'm sick of having less than forty guns.
