There doesn't seem to be a "pr0n" thread in this section. I thought I'd kick it off. Here's a pic of my first handgun. This 686 was bought new by my dad in 1985 as I recall. He never fired it and gave it to me in 1997. Still my favorite piece.

And here it is along with an early-1990's 586, which I use mostly for PPC competition. It's got a very slick action job done by Alex Picart.

Let's see some of your favorites!

Damn, nice pics :)

How much was it to get the checkering done on the back of the grip. I've never seen that before on a revolver.

May I add my 442? It's not a great pic, but it's a good pic.

Thanks! I got lucky with the lighting more than anything.

It looks checkered in the pics, but it's just serrated (as stock). Don't know why it came out that way in the pics!

That's the whole idea! I'd like to see some pics of members' S&W wheelguns. I'm a huge fan. If I ever manage to get my CCW permit here in Massachusetts, the 442 will be at the top of my shopping list. I love those J-frames.

Since you asked -

Here's one I picked up tonight. P&R Highway Patrolman .357 Ctg. Built 1970 - 72, per Supica. Whaddaya think?

Hello.

SWModel042rock1.jpg
This S&W Model 042 was my duty BUG for several years and was carried after retirement before I went with the stainless Model 642.

I bought this Model 19 NIB in the '70's for my father. When he passed away, it came back to me. It's been shot little and now I relegate it to the safe and a trip to the range now and again.

SWM58kniferock1.jpg
This Model 58 has accompanied me on a few hunting trips, but so far the only thing I've used it on was an attacking "saber-toothed armadillo! (The hunting knife was made for me a few months ago by Ken Wengert. I have yet to get to "use" it as well.

I am more than a little attached to this Model 64. Though "only a .38," I like and carry it now and again.

This Model 10 has proven itself a very solid performer at the range and though plain, it's a favorite of mine for sure.

S&W's Model 28 was used for decades by the Texas Department of Public Safety. I bought this like new 4-screw 4" several years ago and it remains one of the best shooting revolvers I own.

Best.

the first gun i ever fired back in 1988 was a 6" 686.

14 months ago the orginal owner of it sold the 686 to me, first hand gun i've owned.

I won't make the mistake the first owner did of letting it go ;)

i cant post pix here.

i can do so on glocktalk...but here you must have a secondary source to load them to or something like that....it wont go straight from my computor to here, says the file is too big or something.......

my camera sucks anyway and none of my pix are as high quality as the ones here. besides, all my guns have real world use looks about them.

Lots of very nice pics here.

Stephen A. Camp, I really like your lighting....pretty guns, too. That 19 is a real beauty and I like the pic of the 28 a lot as well.

Supermoto, that's a nice pic and I really like the background/composition. Texture is a happy thing!

Here's another of my stable...just took the pic tonight. Model 28-2, a working gun...
