To me, this should fall under the second amendment, as it is limiting our ability to arm ourselves. However, it's not.
That said, best you can do is find enough like-minded people in your district to sway your represenative into working out a bill or a rider to an existing bill to repeal this. Hopefully you have enough coordination from other districts/counties to apply pressure to the other represenatives to get it passed.
Politics is best done by grabbing the horns....sure you can get the bull, but that's part of the fun.
