I have been wanting a j-point or Dr. Optic for my 17c for years now. When Burris came out with their version at half the price, I jumped on it. It took me about 10-12 shots to get it zeroed and I started shooting groups. I was blown away. At 10 yards, off-hand with my reloads, I was getting perfectly centered sub-inch groups! I get bored with pretty quickly so I started plinking at range debris. 12 guage hulls were a snap, .45 empties took a little effort, and 9mm hulls were a little harder. I had a few round left so I sat an empty .22lr on the corner of my target stand. 7 yards and 2 shots later, this is what I got.
If you have been considering a J-point style sight...DO IT!
BTW, the gun is bone stock except for the sight and 3 lb trigger connector
