Sore Trigger Finger

When I want to have fun, I'm generally happy with about 300 rounds of 38 in the DA mode. I found that around 350 I start to blister so stupid me, I switch hands until I start to blister the other trigger finger. Matching blisters - proof of no brains.

Ah. My bad, Pax. I projected one of my pet peeves onto your poor resolver, sight-unseen. I don't mind a serrated wide trigger on a target revolver, but on a duty gun, I want a smooth, medium to narrow trigger, because they're more forgiving for imprecise finger tip placement, and because they don't abrade the finger with multiple rapid trigger manipulations.

Peter expresses the work problem very well, I think.

One Spring Break when I was in junior high school, I went to Lake Travis (near Austin) for Spring Break for a couple of days. A front came through, and it was too cold to swim. The "beach" was all flaked limestone rocks. With little else to do, I began skipping them on the lake. I got good, with many skipping more than 12 to 15 times. The best rocks were about the size of the palm of my hand, (~5" square),and about a half inch thick. As I was standing on a rockslide of them, there was no shortage of them. On the way home, I noted how sore my right arm was. I couldn't understand why. Then I got to thinking: Over 2 days, I had spent literally about 10 hours skipping rocks. Figure I threw a rock every half minute of that time. I had easily side-armed 300 lbs of rocks into Lake Travis, figuring each rock at 4 oz average. Funny how the weight builds up.

The last few days I've been having a bad flare up in my weak hand and wrist..and tonight is IDPA...oh,I AM going..just hope there's no weak hand only stages.....if there is I may just shoot strong hand and take the penalty...I had to take a 2 month break from shooting for health reasons, and I NEED to shoot every week(at least once)....I'm shooting 38's tonight so it shouldn't be too bad.....
Pax....I like it "no pain,no pain":D
