Funny, my wife came home with a paper of PC correct sayings to say. Pretty much boiled down to Happy Holidays. They still all say Merry Christmas.

For the atheists out here, happy festival based on the winter solstice (that hasn't been corrected lately as it comes a couple days late now)! The day after the winter solstice is the first day since the summer solstice where the following day has more sunlight. The sun has risen.
But as a reply to the others, I'm as pro-gun as anyone else, and it doesn't require my participation in mythology. Because I am a social progressive, I'm probably what you would consider to be a liberal. Just to point out the name calling.

My wife suprised me with a Remington 870 Express Magnum that I've been looking at.
But this is kinda cool...
The last day of work before the Christmas break, we got a letter letting us know that each of us are getting a $200 check. I had JUST placed an order for magazines that costs $201.00.
So my employer just paid for my magazines for Christmas. Now I just have to wait until next Christmas before they will be shipped out..../sigh.

As for keeping it gun related, even though I always tell everyone not to get me anything, I always end up with some spare cash after Christmas, so I'll be taking that to hopefully completly pay off the gun I have on layaway (SVT-40) and if theres some left over, start saving up to get my first NFA item myself!

I am Jewish, was born Jewish, (although I am not practicing) and I have NEVER had a problem with people saying "Merry Christmas." This country is majority Christian, that is a FACT, and anyone who gets all up in arms over Christmas decorations, Christmas greetings, Christmas sales at stores, or whatever, is a whining politically-correct jerk.
For the record, I have never met a single black person who actually celebrated Kwanzaa. Sometimes I suspect that the whole holiday was completely made up as a big prank on America, and that it doesn't actually exist.
