I may be getting a Black Powder era single Barrel, break-open ('Topper') 12 Gauge Shotgun.

Are there good sources for obtaining Paper Shells for loading/re-loading my own PB Loads?

Or, would Brass Shells be better?

I used to shoot some Trap years ago...otherwise, new to Shotguns as far as many of their aspects go.

100 years ago...Cases/Shells were 2-1/2 inch? Or..? Will I have to measure the Chamber and see?

Graf & Sons sells primed paper hulls as well as all-brass shells. The brass shells take a large pistol primer and you'll need some oversize wads since the walls of the brass hulls are thin.
