A reply from the shoot director:
here are the answers to your questions. Thanks

Will there be camping on, or near, the grounds/event? For shooters and vendors only

What kind of MG shooter turnout is expected? I have 20 positions sold presently

How many vendors/dealers are expected? I have a couple who have committed thus far

How will the view be for spectators? They can come to the firing line and there is a hill behind the shooters

Any firm commitments on military vehicle showing up? none as of yet

Even though this is a first event, how do you see this in comparision to Knob Creek? I hope it's never that big

Excerpt from shooter info document:
Tell us where you want to be on the line.... #1 is the bottom of the hill on the beltfed side and goes up to #42.... #43-60 and up will be solely shoulder-fired weapons. Tanks and big vehicles will start out #1 and go up (it’s fairly level there). You will be able to drive up to your spot to unload your equipment. We ask that everyone work with us in removing your vehicles to a secured area. If you need to come back to your spot to unload more, that is OK. This is the first event so we’ll have the inevitable bugs to work out. Bring some shade!

Layout- starts at the bottom of a small hill and proceed slightly upwards for about 300 + feet (this is for the beltfed and heavier stuff), will make about a 20 degree angle to the right and proceed along fairly flat ground for about 125+ feet (this will be for strictly shoulder-fired weapons).

Ammunition. Firefighting personnel will be on hand but we can do without staring a forest fire. Flares and tracers are fine. Have a flare launcher? We’ll need it!

Targets- appliances and old cars laced with a generous amount of Tannerite. Also, this area was logged within the past 5 years. Therefore it has quite a bit of smaller trees that can be cleared with full auto fire

Weapons- can’t really think of any limitations---working on a tank trail

Schedule- we intend to have several periods of shooting with breaks of about an hour+/-. Suppressed fire only- artillery only- belted- tracked vehicle, etc.
Friday- begin about 5pm and go until NLT 10:00pm
Saturday-begin about 10am and end NLT 10:00pm
Sunday-begin about 10am and end NLT 5pm

Spectators- we ask that you don’t allow spectators onto your position while firing

Badges for shooters will be passed out when you arrive. You will be issued 2 badges per position. We will have extra on hand if you bring extra people with you.

Fee- $100 per position includes 2 shooters badges and complimentary parking. Bringing extra shooters? $5 each (kids 12 and under free)

Food will be available on-site from a concession stand
