The grips on the SP101 and the fixed sight GP100 are the same size correct?

So these are a little smaller than the GP100 adjustable sight models?

And can you get a full grip on the smaller SP101 grips, all three fingers?

Thanks, I'm really thinking about getting a GP100 3" and then sending it to Clark Custom Guns (if I like it). Getting an action job, white outline rear blade sight, color insert (green) on the front sight, and then probably chamfer the cylinder (charge) holes. I thought about a full moon clip conversion, but I guess I'm still 50/50 on that, prob end up just using speed loaders.

Don't know if the grips are the same size or not. I have a sp101 and you would have to have some really small hands to get all three fingers on the grip. My hands are about averge and it's more like 2 and 1/4 fingers on the grip.

I have the GP and the SP and they are not the same size grip. Small grip on GP and standard grip on the SP. The wood panels on the small GP grip will fit the panels on the SP standard grip. IMHO that and a dollar will get you a paper cup at Starbucks.;)

Thanks Bronco, I think I got it. I was confused by the panels being interchangeable between the SP101 and the GP100 fixed sight.

So essentially...there is a "small" grip on the SP101, a "medium" grip on the GP100 fixed sight, and a "large" grip on the GP100 adjustable sight model correct?

I can, but I have smaller hands than your typical North American adult male.

The factory grip for the 3" fixed sight GP100 is smaller than the factory grip for the 4" adjustable sight GP100. I don't know how the SP101 compares to the GP100 fixed, but I don't think one will fit the other. I say that without knowledge of the fact. Shopping for grips for both guns, I can find any mentioned that say one size fits all.

Have both guns and all three grips. As said, panels are interchangeable but small GP grip is larger than SP. SP grip is pretty compact and I have to curl my pinky under it. I find the small GP grip is a perfect fit for me as I can grip with all three fingers and can control it quite well. I actually like the looks of the large GP grip more than the small but for shooting I like the small-why can I never get something I like in every way :banghead: ?

Both guns are wonderful and I wouldn't trade either one. I actually have two SP's, .357 and 9mm
